Ok so I haven't been very good keeping my blog going. My problem seems to come from my lack of time to devote to making updates (a big thank you to all the people who send work my way. I really appreciate it!!!)...but that is going to change. I had thought about getting a yahoo group, but there are issues with using those type groups so I figure its better for me just to post things to my website. So please, check back. This year I will have more updates available!!!
I've had some success training Julia to do tricks. Check out the video below!
Since its winter I haven't been able to ride much, but I am proud to say that Hughie is in stage two of bowing and he gets on the pedistal all by himself! For him, that's a big challenge. He never cared where he placed his hooves...but the pedistal is so small he has to think about balancing on it. What I find most enjoyable about training Hughie and all the others is when they get it right, you can see their enjoyment when you give them tons of praise. Hughie will actually raise his head and thow it up and down like he's saying "yes." He's just a silly guy, and I am sure I sound like a silly mom who's proud of her kids.
